Paddle away through the summer lakes!
We have three Coleman canoes for your use. They are made of reinforced plastic and have flat bottoms. They come fully equipped, easy to control and are suitable for shallow waters.
Waves of Lake Alakeyritty
- Self guided 4 hour tour from Kestitupa to either lovely beach at Hiekkahäikkä or to the beginning of river Keyritty and back (appx 3-4 kilometers each way)
- Tour includes canoe equipped for two, life jackets, map and snacks.
- price 30 eur/ person, 45 eur/ person with guide
Tour of Paljakka
- Self guided 6 hour tour where you paddle your way (appx 3km) from Kestitupa to Hiekkahäikkä and then hike up the Paljakka hill (third highest hill in Northern Savo), have some coffee and snacks by the fire either at top of the hill or at the beach of Hiekkahäikkä
- Tour includes canoe equipped for two, life jackets, map, snacks and coffee
- Price 40 eur/ person, 60 eur/ person with guide
Canoe rental:

20 eur/ day, includes lifejacket, canoe equipment (also helmets for river runs)

120 eur for delivering and picking up the canoe in Rautavaara (location has to be next to a road). Anywhere else price upon agreement.
